Introduction

What Whaiz is

Whaiz connects an artificial intelligence to your personal WhatsApp number. It's not the official WhatsApp Business bot: it uses your real account, so conversations are natural and indistinguishable from ones you write yourself. And there's more: with the API you integrate WhatsApp into your management software (ERP), website or scripts — in any language — to automate sending any message.

Tailored personality

For each chat you decide who the bot is, how it writes and what it can say.

Total control

The bot stops the moment you type. No message goes out without your go-ahead.

Pay only for what you use

No subscription: top up when you want and consume only the AI you use.

Connect any software

With the REST API you link WhatsApp to your management software, website or scripts in any language and automate sending any message.

In short: connect WhatsApp with a QR code, configure the bot for each contact or group, and Whaiz starts replying for you following your rules. The next sections explain each step.
First steps

Connect your WhatsApp

Connecting works like WhatsApp Web: you scan a QR code once and your number is operational. It takes less than a minute.

1

Open the WhatsApp section

In the side menu click WhatsApp, then Add account. You can connect multiple numbers, each independent.
2

Generate the QR code

Press Connect: a QR code valid for 60 seconds will appear (it regenerates automatically if it expires).
3

Scan from your phone

On your phone open WhatsApp → SettingsLinked devicesLink a device, and point it at the QR on screen.
4

Wait for the sync

Whaiz automatically imports contacts, groups and recent chat history. You can choose how many days of history to import.

Like WhatsApp Web, the phone must stay on and connected to the internet: Whaiz is a linked device, it doesn't replace your phone.
The heart of Whaiz

Configure the AI bot

For each contact or group you create a 'persona': who the bot is, how it writes, what it knows about you and what it must never do. That's what makes the replies feel like you wrote them yourself.

1

Open AI Bot and pick the chat

From the menu go to AI Bot, select the account, then choose a contact or a group from the list.
2

Choose the AI model

Fast and cheap (€0.001/msg), Balanced and a bit pricier (€0.003/msg) or Smarter and more expensive (€0.006/msg).
3

Fill in the persona

Fill the fields below. The more specific you are, the more faithful the replies are to your style.
4

Activate the bot

Save and flip the switch. From then on the bot replies in the chosen chat following your instructions.
AI Bot page — list of WhatsApp accounts to expand for groups and contacts
The AI Bot page lists your WhatsApp accounts: click an account to expand it and manage — separately — its groups and contacts, each with its own toggle.
Detailed contact configuration — AI type, identity, style and tone
A contact's configuration: choose the AI type and compose the persona — who the bot is, how it writes, what it knows and what it must not do.
Offline editing (.md template): with the Export .md and Import .md buttons you download the persona as a text file, refine it at your leisure on your computer and re-upload it. Handy for preparing elaborate characters or reusing them across chats.
Ready-made business profiles: for those starting from scratch there are 10 industry profiles (hotel, restaurant, dentist, garage, hairdresser…) with persona, data and a welcome protocol already set up. You pick them per number and then customize them as you like.
Tone and relationship

Adapt the persona

Beyond free text, a few quick switches guide the bot on the right register to use with that person.

Relationship

Friend, family, partner, colleague, customer, supplier or stranger: changes the base tone.

Formal / informal address

Force the formal or informal register, or let the AI decide.

Reply length

Short, medium or long replies depending on how you usually write.

Emoji

None, a few, or 'like the person' to mirror their style.

Reply in the message's language

If on, the bot always replies in the language of whoever writes.

Examples of your style

One sentence per line: the bot learns from how you actually talk.

Examples of your style and the 'like the person' emoji setting are the two factors that most make replies feel human. They're worth getting right.
Behavior

When (and whether) to reply

Whaiz doesn't fire off replies like a robot. These settings decide the timing, pauses and limits, for natural behavior.

Active hours

E.g. 8-18: the bot replies only in that window. Empty = always active.

Pause when you reply (Human handover)

As soon as you type in the chat, the bot goes quiet for N seconds (default 60). Take back control whenever you want.

Wait for messages to finish (Anti-burst)

Before replying it waits a few seconds: if the person is still typing, it waits for them to finish and replies once.

Max replies in a row

Anti-spam: after N replies without a reply from the person, the bot stops.

If it doesn't know what to answer

It can improvise, say you'll call back, or stay silent.

Automatic notices

When the bot can't reply (out of hours, no credit, limit reached or unauthorized contact) it sends a short predefined message, once a day per chat, at no AI cost.

Catch-all for unknown numbers

For business numbers you can let the bot reply even to contacts without a dedicated configuration, with a GDPR intro and daily limits (30-50 a day).

Exclusive feature

The bot in groups

In groups Whaiz is surgical: it replies only when needed and gives you per-participant control no other tool offers.

1

Replies only when mentioned

In groups the bot steps in only when mentioned with @. No butting into normal conversations.
2

Per-participant control (Owner)

For each group member you decide what they can do: one participant can access the advanced tools (the Owner mode), another can't.
3

Owner trigger word

You set a secret word (e.g. *unlock*): when you write in the group starting with that word, the bot runs your command with all tools active.
Group configuration — AI type, identity and bot style
A group's configuration: AI type and the bot's persona, just like for a contact. Further down you can also decide, for each participant, whether and how the bot replies.

@ mention

The bot never sees technical numbers: it recognizes people by name from the address book.

Owner mode

Only trusted participants can trigger web search, PDF, images and analysis.

Superpowers inside WhatsApp

Advanced tools

When a contact or participant is in Owner mode, the bot can do much more than chat: it runs real tools and returns the result in the chat.

Web search

Up-to-date information from the web in real time.

Generate PDF

Create and send formatted PDF documents.

Chat analysis

Summarizes and analyzes a conversation's entire history, person by person.

AI images

Generate images from a description, or edit or recreate a photo you send it.

AI video

Create short videos from text or animate a static photo.

Voice & voice clone

Understands the voice messages it receives and can reply by voice, even cloning a vocal timbre.

The bot also reads the photos and PDFs you send it. To use a tool just ask in words: it understands the intent and decides on its own what to run.
Automations

Scheduled tasks

Schedule messages that go out on their own at a time or frequency you choose. Useful for recurring good-mornings, reminders, greetings or periodic reports.

Fixed message

Predefined text, with dynamic variables replaced at send time.

{{data}}{{ora}}{{giorno}}{{mese}}{{anno}}

AI-generated

Give an instruction and the AI composes a new message each time, with the full chat context.

Scheduled Tasks page
The Tasks page: create automatic messages, fixed or AI-generated, with a customizable frequency.
1

Create the task

Choose a name, WhatsApp account and type (fixed or AI).
2

Select recipients

One or more contacts or groups.
3

Set the frequency

Once, every day, every week or a custom time.
Monitoring

Payments

Tokens and costs

Whaiz is pay-as-you-go: no subscriptions. You buy tokens, and each bot reply consumes a small part based on the AI model used.

Tokens page — balance, top-up packs and transaction history
The Tokens page: current balance, top-up packs and a detailed transaction history.

Flexible packs

Basic €10, Pro €25 or Business €50. Top up when you want, no subscriptions.

Transparent history

Every reply is tracked with date, chat and exact cost. You always know where your tokens go.

Adaptive caching automatically reuses the repeated parts of active conversations, cutting AI costs by up to 80% with no loss of quality.
For developers

Whaiz API — send from any software

Beyond the AI bot, Whaiz offers a REST API to send WhatsApp messages from your management software, website or scripts — in PHP, JavaScript, Python, cURL and other languages, with a single call.

1

Activate the subscription

From the API menu choose a plan: €15/month for 1 number, +€5/month for each extra number. Annual with 1 month free.
2

Create an API key

Generate a key: you see it only once, copy it and keep it safe.
3

Copy the snippet for your language

Choose number, message type and language: the code is ready with your token. Copy button.
4

Send from your code

Run the call: the message goes out from your WhatsApp number. There's also a send history.
curl -X POST \
  "https://api.whaiz.info/v1/messages/text" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"token":"wha_live_...","to":"39333...","body":"Ciao!"}'

6 message types

Text, image, document, location, contact and audio.

11 ready-made languages

cURL, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, Go, C++, VB.NET and VBA (Office).

Built-in anti-ban

Configurable delay between messages (minimum 5s) to protect the number.

Send history

Every API send is tracked with type, recipient, status and time.

Don't paste the API key into public pages (e.g. browser-side HTML): it would be visible to anyone who opens the source. For public sites make the call server-side (PHP, Node, Python).
Account

Profile and security

From the Profile section you manage your data, change your password and enable two-step verification to protect access.

1

Personal data

Update name, country and date of birth whenever you want.
2

Change password

Set a new password by entering the current one (not available for Google accounts).
3

Two-step verification (2FA)

Enable 2FA with one click: from then on, at every login you receive a code by email to enter after the password.

Accounts created with Google always sign in through Google and don't have a password: for them, changing the password isn't available.
Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Can I use my everyday number?

Yes. Whaiz connects to your existing WhatsApp as an additional device, exactly like WhatsApp Web. You don't need a new number.

Do I have to keep my phone on?

Yes. Being a linked device, the phone must stay on and connected to the internet for the bot to work.

What happens if I reply to a chat myself?

The bot notices and pauses (Human handover) for the time you set. Take back control anytime, without turning anything off.

Does the bot reply to everyone automatically?

No. It replies only in chats where you've enabled and configured a persona. In groups it steps in only if mentioned with @.

Can I connect multiple WhatsApp accounts?

Yes, you can add several numbers from the WhatsApp section, each with its own personas and independent settings.

Can I prepare the configurations offline?

Yes. From any contact or group you can export the persona as a .md file, edit it at your leisure on your computer and re-import it. Handy for elaborate characters or to reuse across chats.

Are my conversations safe?

Whaiz uses chat history only to generate relevant replies on your behalf. Panel access is protected and you can enable two-step verification (2FA) for your account.

How much does it cost?

It starts at €10 pay-as-you-go: you pay only for the AI you consume, with no monthly subscriptions. Adaptive caching reduces costs further.
